7.3 – 8.0 GHz Space Qualified Surface Mount Isolator 

For use in satellite communication systems, including raw satellite feeds, Renaissance offers this space qualified surface mount isolator. Operating at 7.3 – 8.0 GHz, this isolator can handle harsh environments and wide temperature ranges with superior performance.

 

 

HXI's HMI and HMC series broadband ferrite junction isolators and circulators are available from 18 - 120 GHz. They utilize a low loss H-plane structure in a modified Y-junction format to provide minimum loss with maximum isolation and bandwidth. 2 GHz bandwidths with 20 dB of isolation are standard. Wider bandwidth, high power handling and magnetic shielding are available in select units.

 

 

HXI's Phase-Locked Receiver operates at a center frequency of 60 GHz, which is the location of the oxygen absorption band where low elevation transmission losses are approximately 16 dB per kilometer. The Receiver can be used along with HXI’s HTX60.0-179 Phase-Locked Transmitter for propagation studies, material characterization, as an analog communications link or even as an FMCW or pulsed radar front end.

 

 

For space and harsh environments, Renaissance has developed a truly hermetic SPDT switch with fine leak rate compatible to 10^-5 atm cc/s and a minimum lifecycle of 1,000,000.
