35 GHz Dual Channel Receiver
HXI’s HRX35.0-230 receiver is a compact 35 GHz dual channel receiver covering the frequency range of 33 to 37 GHz. The receiver downconverts the 33 to 37 GHz band to a 6 to 10 GHz IF output frequency range in each channel. Both channels exhibit 25 dB gain with a typical noise figure of 8 dB. An on-board phase-locked oscillator provides the local oscillator signal for both receiver channels. Voltage-variable attenuators are located at the input of each receiver channel for gain control via UART. The RF inputs and IF outputs are all coaxial. The receiver is housed in a 8” x 5” x 2” case with an externally mounted fan for cooling purposes.

35 GHz Dual Channel Transmitter
HXI’s HTX35.0-230 transmitter is a rack-mounted 35 GHz dual channel transmitter covering the frequency range of 33 to 37 GHz. The transmitter upconverts the 6 to 10 GHz IF input frequency range to the 33 to 37 GHz band and amplifies it to 10 watts output power in each channel. An on-board phase-locked oscillator provides the local oscillator signal for both transmitter channels. The oscillator is locked to an external 10 MHz reference oscillator (customer-supplied). Each transmitter channel has an auxiliary input sub-channel for pass-through of any signal within Ka-Band. The output interface to the user is WR-28 waveguide with UG-599/U flanges.

HXI's HMI and HMC series broadband ferrite junction isolators and circulators are available from 18 - 120 GHz. They utilize a low loss H-plane structure in a modified Y-junction format to provide minimum loss with maximum isolation and band- width. 2 GHz bandwidths with 20 dB of isolation are standard. Wider bandwidth, high power handling and magnetic shielding are available in select units.
